{Valentine's} Date Night Edit: 12 Outfit Ideas + Amazon steals!

Whether you are dressing up for a date night with your main man... or for a fun night out with the girls, "Galentine's" Style... I know you want to look amazing... yet not overly fussy or uncomfortable. That is literally the only way I can dress. I read somewhere that the Sagittarius sign {me} hates to feel confined in spaces or clothes... and ummm... that 100% accurate. I need comfort and stretch, but a whole lot of sass!

I have rounded up a few fun {affordable} looks for your evening out – all with a hint of Valentine's. Pour a glass of wine and let's style and shop!

Outfit 1

A pop of red and a little leg are some of my favorite evening out accessories. When I showed my husband all the different looks he voted on this one as his hands down favorite. So... I will definitely be recreating this look for an evening out with him soon!

This skirt from Amazon is so soft, stretchy and a great length if you are shorter {like me}. It is a suede feel, has buttons down the front (zipper in back) and is forgiving at the waist. I love the vibrant color and fit. It's Amazon, so you know this comes in oodles of colors!

I paired with a black square-neck bodysuit and OTK boots.

Outfit 2

I also love this softer {warmer} look. I've been raving about this sweater for a while... and I keep finding new ways to wear it. Rather than wearing long and front tucked... I tucked it all the way in and pulled a bit out all around to create a slightly boxy top... but a silhouette that enhances the hips and legs.

I think for winter {especially if you are going short with the skirt}... you gotta go tall with the boots... if anything to stay a little warmer! I'm wearing a small sweater and medium skirt.

Outfit 3

I think lace is romantic... but can be itchy and hard to wear... I was pleasantly surprised with this beautiful top from Amazon. Not itchy in the least... and oh so fun to wear! It has a small mock neck and solid lace look from top to bottom. This top comes with a black mini tube bra. Let's be the real real and say that it is NOT supportive... so a strapless bra is necessary... a good amount of skin shows through... But I didn't mind the look. If you are self conscious of that... you could wear a spaghetti strap cami underneath or other shape wear.

I paired with my Peak Joggers and nude strappy heels for a sorta sultry look. LOVE these joggers btw. They are silky soft, have zippered detail at ankle and fit like a dream. If you want a small splurge, these are the joggers to get. I'm wearing a medium top, small bottom.

Outfit 4

Ok... so this outfit is SOOOO me. I love wearing classic black with a pop of red lips and heels. So simple and easy to recreate (whether you have these pieces or not)!

Outfit 5

One flirty skirt with two different tops. I love this subtle ruffle skirt from Amazon. It has an elastic waist and I think the perfect length (not too long and not too short!) Throw on a leather jacket and you are READY, sis! AND... I love the potential for this skirt to see you through Spring and into Summer!

It looks SO cute with this red lace cami. This cami comes in oodles of colors and it nice and long... It can easily transition to a nighty once the evening is through {wink...wink}. The straps are adjustable so you can make it sneaky and low cut OR higher-necked depending on your preference.

And bodysuit. Obvi. Bodysuits are just my most favorite right now! And... these Target heels are just so fun!

Outfit 6

More red cami (with straps shortened for less chest)! You can pair this with so many bottoms... to make it dressier or more casual... depending on where date night takes you. I first paired with my FAVORITE metallic black leggings. They are just as amazing for workouts as they are for styling!

Joggers and a front tuck for the win...

With jeans and nude heels. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE these jeans?

Outfit 7

When these red joggers came across my computer screen months ago... I KNEW they needed a permanent home in my closet. I tiny splurge at $89 but 100% worth it. I have worn them dressy for Christmas parties, sassy for date nights and casual with a jean jacket and kicks for running the day. They have a gold zipper detail and are statement piece that will draw all the compliments from your date {or gal pals!}

I paired with a bodysuit, black lace cap-sleeved top and gold sparkle heels. This little cap-sleeved top is SO good, ya'll. Perfect for date night AND for work. It would be equally adorable with a pencil skirt or dress pants. This style of top is ideal if you have broader shoulders (like me) because often a short sleeved dressier top feels restrictive through the shoulders. But not this one.

Outfit 8

I love red with black {See above} but I think it is dreamy mcdreamy with white/cream. I talked about this top in my winter capsule... and I see this gem moving with me into my Easter edit... and Spring edit! It's a stunner!

Ok this sweater again. I know. I am obsessed.

Outfit 9

Maybe you are super anti wear-red-or-pink for Valentine's Day. I get that. So why not tuck in that white sweater with jeans and some statement booties? I think this look is still festive without the overt Valentine's vibe.

Or maybe you need more pink in your life. This picture doesn't seem to show the real deep hot pink of this top. It is a fun one.. but honestly not my fave in the whole line-up. But must share the hits and misses.

This top was SO feminine and fun. Silk light pink with all these tie details. I fussed with it for way too long to determine how it was all to go... and honestly... it was just a wee but too much fussiness for me... but it is a gorgeous feminine top! I should have tried on with a black pencil skirt!

Outfit 10

Red metallic tights. AHHHHH! Does anything scream Valentine's fun more? Clearly not. They are pre-order only... but they look fab with my white sweater and leopard booties.

I love the edge of a black cami and black leather jacket.

And a little heart-felt whimsy with this loose white/black heart top. Are the hearts too much with snakeskin booties? I mean...

Outfit 11

Is any date night edit complete without a LBD? This one is so simple and keeps me coming back for more styling. A nice respectable length and the versatility to pair with a pop of color or a leg lengthening nude heel. During my styling sesh I am fairly certain I had just had lunch prior to this and my red lips are gone. ha ha. But obvi this screams for a deep red pout.

Outfit 12

A little dressy... a little classy... a whole lot obsessed. Red and leopard make me smile. And this combo is SOOOO good! I've talked about this skirt before... and it is just so, so good. Feels great on, has a stretchy waistband... and massive appeal to take it casual or dressy.
